Leading Hungarian independent law firm Lakatos, Köves and Partners (LKT) was “Highly Commended” at The Lawyer European Awards 2017 in the “Central European Law Firm of the Year” category, and was shortlisted for The Chambers Europe Awards 2017 in the “Law Firm of the Year: Hungary” category. LKT has also achieved top rankings in the recently published The Legal 500 2017 and Chambers Global and Chambers Europe 2017 annual rankings.
LKT was shortlisted and won the “Highly Commended” award in the “Central European Law Firm of the Year” category in the 2017 The Lawyer European Awards announced on 16 March in London. For this year’s awards, LKT was shortlisted in its category along with other leading firms from the region: Domański Zakrzewski Palinka, Drzewiecki Tomaszek & Partners, Kinstellar, Kochanski Zieba & Partners, Maruta Wachta, and Wolf Theiss. The Lawyer European Awards celebrate the brightest and the best in the European legal industry, rewarding premier European firms for their work during the past year.
LKT was also shortlisted for The Chambers Europe Awards 2017, in the “Law Firm of the Year: Hungary” category, along with its peers Andrékó Kinstellar Ügyvédi Iroda, Kajtár, Takács, Hegymegi-Barakonyi Baker & McKenzie Ügyvédi Iroda, Horváth & Partners DLA Piper, and Oppenheim. These awards recognise law firms’ pre-eminence in key countries in the region, and reflect notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service.
