Lakatos, Köves & Partners (“LKT”) advised – alongside Clifford Chance London – John Swire & Sons Ltd. as buyer and 60% controlling shareholder on the acquisition of Swire Coca-Cola USA unit of Hong Kong-based conglomerate Swire Pacific Ltd. for $3.9 billion. Swire Coca-Cola USA produces and sells Coca-Cola and other drinks across 13 U.S. states.

The LKT team, led by Ádám Máttyus, Partner advised the buyer on Hungarian corporate and FDI issues.
