Before joining LKT in 2024 Péter was for many years managing partner at Nagy & Trócsányi, an independent Hungarian law firm, where he gained extensive experience in Corporate, M&A, Employment, Real Estate and Construction law and Regulatory work.

Before joining LKT in 2024 Péter was for many years managing partner at Nagy & Trócsányi, an independent Hungarian law firm, where he gained extensive experience in Corporate, M&A, Employment, Real Estate and Construction law and Regulatory work. Péter has significant experience in diverse domestic and cross-border transactions and is active in advising corporate clients in connection with their day-to-day operations.
Péter Berethalmi graduated from the Faculty of Law of József Attila University (1994) and he holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Laws degree from the University of London International Programmes (2010). Besides his native Hungarian he speaks fluent English. Péter is member of the Supervisory Board of the Association of the Hungarian Automotive Industry (MAGE).
