Viktória Szilágyi is a Partner in LKT’s Corporate and M&A practice and Co-Head of the firm’s Energy practice. With more than two decades of experience, she advises international and domestic clients on cross-border M&A, greenfield developments, strategic investments and complex corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.
She has particular expertise in the energy sector, including renewable energy and geothermal projects, as well as in healthcare, automotive and mobility services. Her work spans the full lifecycle of investments, from market entry, greenfield development and acquisitions through regulatory and commercial matters to the ongoing operation and expansion of businesses in Hungary.
Viktória combines legal precision with commercial insight, helping clients navigate complex and rapidly changing markets and turn opportunities into successful, sustainable investments.
As a member of LKT’s China Desk, she advises Chinese and other Asia-focused clients on investments, market entry and business development in Hungary and Europe. She also leads and coordinates LKT’s international business development activities, building relationships between clients, law firms and business communities across jurisdictions and creating opportunities for long-term cross-border cooperation.
Alongside her client work, Viktória is actively involved in the international and Hungarian legal communities. She serves as Co-Chair of the European Regional Forum of the International Bar Association, as a Consultant at the Lawyers’ Academy of the Budapest Bar Association, and is an active Member of the Professional Committee of the Hungarian Bar Association.
