Pál Rahóty Promoted to Partner at Lakatos, Köves and Partners

In this spirit, LKT is pleased to announce the promotion of Pál Rahóty to Partner.

Pál taken a key role in developing and is heading LKT’s financial regulatory practice group, which serves clients both in transactions and in relation to non-transactional regulatory matters. The regulatory experience and client base has developed together with the transactional work experience, which gives it a distinctive edge. The team combines resources from the Banking & Finance and Corporate M&A groups of LKT.

Pál started his carrier at LKT and serves his clients on the back of over two decades of international and local transactional and advisory experience. He advises financial and capital markets institutions, funds, and insurance companies on complex matters under both Hungarian and EU law. Clients includes not only financial sector participants looking at regulatory issues but also unregulated entities considering investments or divestments (or market entry/exit) in the financial sector or public companies.

In addition to his regulatory and M&A work, Pál has extensive experience in equity capital markets transactions and advises clients on a wide range of complex corporate law matters, including restructurings, disputes, joint ventures, and other commercial arrangements. His deep sector knowledge and practical, solution-oriented approach make him a trusted adviser to both domestic and international clients.

Pál’s work is consistently recognized by leading legal directories, including Chambers, IFLR1000, and Legal 500, reflecting the high level of trust he has earned from his clients. He is equally valued within the firm for his professionalism, reliability, and strong commitment to excellence.
