The Hungarian M&A market’s leading legal advisor, Lakatos, Köves and Partners, recently advised the Irish Communicorp Group on the sale of Juventus Radio.
During the transaction, a competitive auction process, many legal regulatory and financial issues arose and were dealt with to successfully close the deal, said Dr. Peter Peremiczki of LKT, the senior lawyer on the case. The transaction concludes Communicorp’s exit from Hungary.
The Budapest-based law firm’s M&A practice has seen significantly higher levels of activity in the last year, compared to the period since 2008, with transactions in the media, financial services, retail and utilities sector.
